electriv push fan probs? questions?

I have a prob with my front PUSH electric fan that is suppose to kick on with the A/C when it is HOT! outside, but it never seems to kick on. On REAL hot days the car/temp gauge tends to really climb! Isn't their a sensor for this or someting, that I could check. ANy help would be appreciated.

I used a thermo sensor and a adjustable realy to cycle. The outer push fan for the A/C I used a wire that comes off of the dryer. to kick it on when the a/c button is pressed. On my 98 the wire was white with a red stripe but dont quote me.
