EGR Valve & Idle problem

Is there an easy way to troubleshoot an EGR Valve problem, My 240SX Idles really rough after it is started with and without air conditioner on. Idle speed is 700RPM and it had a Nissan Tune-up just 1500 miles ago with plug wire replacement? Thanks, I am at a loss. Engine runs fine all other ranges.
