Pardon my ignorance, plus I searched for this...

Driving back my (new to me) Q on Saturday. Should I reset the ECU when I get home and fill her up with 93 octane? I mean will the ECU adjust quicker this way...plus it'll be driven in hot and humid TX the rest of her life as opposed to sunny dry Cali.

I'll probably run injector cleaner through her as well since we'll be burning at least 3 tanks of gas on the trip back!

Wouldn't be the first or the last time I misspelt something lol.

I run dual widebands. And a rpm switch + a few other things. I'm probably just going to start a drag car set up thread and list everything, almost anyone could have their Q as quick as mine is as most of it is still stock.

No need to reset the ECU. The ECU is pretty "dumb", it doesn't "learn" anything it simply responds to inputs/outputs. So just fill it up, get in and drive... :)

The car will be lucky to see that 93 Octane, Cali is 91 unless you want to swing through the racing gas store :)

Long term fuel trim will be lost Depending on how you "Reset" the ECU.
