The ones I've installed from ebay had fitment issues. Not all the holes lined up and so on. The aluminum, if you take brake or carb cleaner to it will come off like a metallic paint with sparkles and stuff. Not exactly the best stuff for your ride. If you can, get the Greddy one. If the motor's out, give the ebay one a try since it'd make the fitment a bit easier than if the motor were still in the car. Another thing you might have to worry about is where the baffle meets up with the lower oil pan, several of these ebay pans I've installed needed to be fitted around the baffle ie grinding and stuff. Not all that fun if you're under your car with oil dripping down.

I bought one of those for about $$125... NOT WORTH IT AT ALL....if I could have done it over again, I would just buy a new OEM SR20 oil pan for about the same price I think. there is definitely fitment issues and i even had problems with the oil drain plug and the oil presure sensor port fitting right. I might try and get my money back and use the stock oil pan and just bang out the dents and put a new gasket on it for now.. I DO NOT TRUST THE EBAY OIL PAN!!!!! ITS A PIECE OF JUNK

I will be the 3rd...

on ebay there is ox2 racing selling it for 100$

I picked it up for 105$ cash

1st one: one of the baffle door bolt doens't fit2nd~4th one: more battle bolt issue, some of the holes are too far apart, some of the holes are too small5th one: baffle doors are fine, but the mounting hole doens't match up with the motor

then I got my refund, would I deal with ox2 or whatever on ebay? yes but I won't buy the fake greddy oil pan

by the way.... about the battle doorss, how quality made are the ebay ones offering? I wonder what will happen if the bolt that holds the 2 pieces together fall apart

one of them that I was looking at was falling apart when I inspected it

dunno, the baffle doors I've seen weren't that bad. Just the material the aluminum is made of and the casting job on everything that's not shiny was pretty bad. Wait, dunno if that made sense...I think my flu medicine is talking again...

well the latest SR swap i did for a guy who owns a Kouki , He got the S14 SR20det and he got the knock off oil pan and i never even tried to install it on the motor at all. The reason i didnt was because the baffle doors that came with that pan were so bad they wouldnt even swing at all, not even after i screwed with them for 1/2 hour or better. So i told him for now just pick up a stock pan and upgrade to a greddy one when he can.

If you put a little motor oil on the hinges, they free up pretty quickly.

well i got suckered into it too, i bought one of the geddy knock offs and when i got it it looked good, the baffles worked good all of the holes lined up perfectly, even the temp sensor threaded in fine, i thought i got lucky, untill i installed it on the car and noticed there was a slow drip coming out so i figured, ok maby i f@#$ed up puttin the silicone on well after the 3rd time i was so frustrated i just put the stock sr pan back on, so now i have a nice big paper weight for my comp desk

I have one on my car. I would reccomend it but maybe not after reading all these stories you guys have. On mine, the only fitment issue was 1 hole from the baffle was a little off. All I did is spend about 2 minutes with a dremel to enlarge the hole on the hinge and it worked just fine. My trap doors were a little stiff as well but a little motor oil freed it right up.

I've had mine for months w/o any problem whatsoever.

I could be wrong... but what if the screw come loose due to enlarged mounting hole?

I'd be pretty scared to imagine the baffle door come loose and hit moving parts

Chances are the RTV from the mounting got to at least a few of the threads on that screw to keep it from spinning free.

I enlarged the hole on the hinge, not the hole in the pan where the screw seats. I also used locktite red.
