Looking into buying an off-lease 2011 G37 coupe to replace my C6. A local dealer has 30 or so available and all priced within $1K of each other. Is there an easy way to tell how a car is optioned?? For example, the door sticker with the VIN has a trim code but looks to be just a single character based on the pictures I've seen. Any thoughts??

Thanks!!!

I believe by the VIN number
Any dealer should be able to look it up

Otherwise there are some clues:

- Sport edition: All 6sp manuals; will have a red S on the trunk; Will have staggered 19" wheels; Will have upgraded seats; Will have large silver brake calipers that say INFINITI; Will have a different bumper. I have seen some used G37's listed as a sport that are not a sport. Usually the calipers are the telling sign. There are other differences based on year as the '11 sport comes with the Sonar package too). Also, if the door panels are two-tone then it's a sport edition.
- If there is a "snow" button between the seat heater adjustments you are ensured the car is AWD ;)
- if there is a sensor in the lower grille it will have Tech package

You know, it's easier to look at the bottom of the spec sheets to determine what the packages are. You can find all of the Spec sheets here: http://infinitig37.com/coupe.html

Not necessarily...

The original dealership's sales department that sold the vehicle will probably have that information. But if you were to just call me in the parts department at my dealership, I'd basically be able to tell you what color it is, what engine/drivetrain it has, and its production date. Otherwise I'm basically left looking for the clues audtatious posted about, only in crudely drawn black and white line diagrams...
