Hey everyone, I finnaly got my driveshaft in after a few days of setbacks and a broken camera lol.

I only really have 2 pictures to use but I can kind of give a step by step.

First your going to need to take the exhaust off. (mid pipes and mufflers)

Second take off all the shields. The 2 on the cats and the one between the cats and the driveshaft.

Third you are going to take off the 4 bolts that are holding the shaft to the diff.As seen in the pic below.

Forth is to take off the 2 bolts that are holding the center support of the OEM shaft to the car. These 2 bolts were a pain in the a** to get off. See below pic.

Now the Drive shaft is free. you should be able to just pull it out of the transmission.

Once you get the old one out your ready to put in the new one.

There is really only one way for it to fit in. When your under the car just slip the new one in a little and slowly rotate it until you feel it hit the right mark.

Once it is fit in the trany bolt it to the diff. You may need to rotate the wheels to make sure your holes line up exactly.

At this point your pretty much done. Put back on all the shields. Make sure that the shield that fits between the cats and the driveshaft is not rubbing. Put the exhaust back on and take the car out to see if there are any vibrations or unusual feelings.

I'm not the best at explaining things so if anyone has anything to add please feel free to do so.

It's actually really easy. I was able to leave the midpipes on and I still didn't have a lot of trouble.

I have been driving around today and i can honestly say I can feel a difference. When I hit the gas it feels like the power is getting to the wheels better. Everything just feels more solid. I love it

Yeah it feels good man.

Now I am pretty much done with the performance and can now focus on the aesthetics of the car

Hello, I get vibration when I drive my car. I lift the rear wheels and get the car into gears while of the ground and everything runs smooth, no vibration then. it is only when is on the ground. A friend of mine told me to check my driveshaft joins or what ever is call. I suspect that it might be more than that, like a differential support because while changing the rear shocks I notice the driver side had some play.

What do you think the problem is and do I have to take the exhaust pipes off no matter what? I can't remember if the space between clears the driveshaft. Mine is a 2+2.

Thanks a lot Nissan riders. We travel in packs!

You mean the wheel had play? Or the suspension components?

To check the DS center carrier bearing, just climb under it and try to move it up and down. If it moves, it's bad.

As far as the "driver side moves" reference, I'm assuming it's the wheel bearing. To check that, jack that side up and grab both the top and bottom of the wheel, and try to shake it by alternating pulling on the top and bottom.

No, the wheels do not vibrate at all, with the car up you can see them spinning beautifully. and I also checked the balance too and they are fine. the suspension was easy to move up and down in the driver side that in the passenger side.

I will try to move the bearing again from a better angle but I didn't get any play before. I am planing on jacking up the car and removing the camshaft, that is why I want to know if I have to remove the exhaust pipe. on a 2+2

Whaaa? I think you mean driveshaft. Yes, you need to unbolt the exhaust to get the DS out. If it doesn't move though, there's no reason to replace it.

I'm having trouble understanding your wording.
