Driver's Side Card Holder

Hi. I'm new here and recently bought a gently used 2006 Infiniti G35X. It's got so many bells and whistles, it intimidates me at times. Going through the car and manual and find this thing called a "card holder" over the side window on the driver's side. For the love of me, I can't figure out what kind of card this is supposed to be for. But the manual says the card holder shouldn't be used while driving. Can anybody tell this novice Infiniti owner what this "card holder" is supposed to be for????

I think it can be used for any type of card, but mainly for those cards you get when driving on toll roads indicating how much you should pay from exit to exit or perhaps for parking garage cards

Holds your business cards well for the quick draw to hand to an attractive lady.

Ok, so mine just sit there above my head.

I use it to hold my work pass for the security gate entrance. Could hold your credit card, but not recommended.
