Here are some of the cars I've owned since I've been in Okinawa. When I got here I bought a 96 WRX wagon then sold it after having it for 2 years. Then I picked up a 91 Toyota Cresta had issues with it so I stripped it, sold the parts and junked it. Then I picked up a 97 Nissan S14 Silvia. This is my 5th S-chassis so they're not that new to me.

Here are pics and mod lists

Then I was doing some welding work for a friend so I went and took my shifter from the Cresta and re-welded another nut on it. So, now I have my 9 inch shifter back. I'm doing an E-brake extension here soon too. Here are some pics.

So driving around a few days later I found this.

I had some old exhaust piping laying around so here was my quick fix for it.

Image

I picked up some spacers for the rear. I wanted 25mm spacers but I got some 30mm, couldn't pass them up for $20.

After

I got a seat rail for the Bride finally.

Here is a pic of my cheap bucket seat next to my Bride.

I also finally found the pipe I was missing from my intercooler kit. I bet you can tell which one it is.

A few days later I went out for a drive and ended up blowing a front coilover. So, I threw on my stock front shocks and HKS springs. While I was at it I decided to put on the Impul R5's to see how they looked.

While I had the camera out I took a pic of the Bride in.

I have also installed some sub frame collars but no pics of that.

Finally put in my FMIC and relocated my battery. Here are some pics.

I also rebuilt some Z32 brakes I got as payment for stripping the car. So off came the S14 4-Pots.

I also ordered some KTS SC Damper system coilovers. These are some pics from the web site.

Here are some pics of the brakes and KTS's on the car.

I also put in my tach(stock one doesn't work) and boost gauge.

Ok so after the last big typhoon we had I found about 2 inches of standing water in my back seat. So I pulled off some panels and I pulled the quarter window out and found this.

Sorry I didnt get any pics of me fixing it.

I also picked up a cage. Here are pics of the cage in and bolted together.

Back in June I got some track time. It was supposed to be a Gymkhana event but to my surprise they shut the track down for drift practice for the up coming Drift Comp. But anyway here are the aftermath pics of the car. I don't have any pics of the car in action since I didn't bring my camera and the fact that I was the only American there. Here are some pics anyway.

Had this one emailed to me from a friend I didn't know was there.

This was my last run because it was my last set of tires. I rolled the bead off the rim in this pic.

That's about where the car sits right now. I've been to the track a few more times since June. I just need to get the pics uploaded and the videos edited and I'll have them posted.

Looking good! Lucky you're in Japan, how do you like it there and hows the car scene?

I hear a lot about how people go USDM in Japan and they even go as far as to ship in Civics and such from the US so they can go LHD. True or not?

Thanks! I love being in Japan. This is my second time in Japan. I lived on mainland before.

Yeah, you'll find the locals doing stuff like that but mostly for the USDM vehicles like trucks(they don't really have full size trucks here) and old school rides (like impalas and Lincolns)

Well I got bored today so I decided to brace up my rear sub-frame just to make sure it doesn't crack. I did this for a friend a few months ago after he cracked his. I know my welds aren't pretty but they work.
