Door tension

First of all I love my new Rogue (Iridium Graphite) with leather. One thing I notice is the driver side door keeps closing on me as I am trying to get out. Unless I have unlimited space to throw the door all the way open to where it catches and stays open it is always banging into me as I am trying to get out. I admit this is not a big issue but is there some way to like adjust the tension of the door so it stays open?

More snow in MN today but I'll drive through it with no problem with my AWD Rogue.Thanks.

The 'door check link' that holds the door open is not adjustable.
