As many of you know, file attachments have been down for quite some time now... I was just informed today that attachments will be disabled... unfortunately, NICO has grown so large that if we continue it will overload the servers, and frankly most of the pictures that are posted are fairly useless..... Im not sure if theres a way to delete non-used pictures, but I dont think there is.

In light of that, there are still some options...

1. You can email me any pictures you want to post on the forum... I can upload them to my iServe account with ease, especially if you send them to me as a zip file.. Note im ONLY going to do this for the infiniti guys, not for anyone else.....

2. You can invest in iServe. Check it out at http://iserve.nicoclub.com . The only downside is it costs something like $20 for 6 months or a year (cant remember for sure)... Its a great thing, you can seamlessly integrate pictures into the forum. Simply clicking the image on you want inserts it into a post as a clickable thumbnail.... Plus you can do in-browser photo editing! You can also put a ton of pictures into a zip file and it will automatically extract and upload the pictures... pretty nice way of uploading 50-100 pictures at a time!

3. You can use the Q45.org gallery. http://www.q45.org/gallery. No login required and its just as good... You can create a login to make your gallery somewhat private. no limits on uploading either...

4. You can use a 3rd party photo hosting service like photobucket, but that does not come highly recommended thru me.

Im sorry I have to make this announcement, but fortunately there are plenty of other alternatives.

Thanks for the update.

I also have a photo serverhttp://www.z-mation.com

you do have to register though, but it allows video files up to 10mb as well.

You can delete unwanted photos in your gallery by going to the zoints profile and then clicking on the Nico gallery. Go to your old gallery and click on a photo, it will enlarge and you will have an option to delete it.

I think NICO should have a gallery and it is terrible that we have gone backwards to not having one!

Why so much hate for Photobucket? At least it's better than Imageshack....

I'm confused Wes. Why not just use photobucket or imageshack? Why pay for hosting?

So if you're using Picasaweb, or another photo hosting site, you would need to go to surround the link for that photo with image tags. So as you'd put the link for the photo inside of tags like this:

{img}http:yourimagelink.com{/img} - but using brackets [ ] instead of { }
