First off, nice to be back in the Nissan fold. I had an SE-R back when they were new, and several Nissans have passed through my family's hands. I have also been a Nico fan for years.

Last Friday, my parents kicked their last Nissan to me--the 1991 240SX that they bought brand-new. I was in college when they got it, so I never spent much time with it. I pretty much drove it for the first time Friday evening. It's a total time capsule--stock cassette deck, even.

It also came with a stack of receipts plus my dad's spreadsheet detailing every service. That spreadsheet, by the way, goes back to the car's first check-up.

So, what to do with it? First, some basics. It became their third car a few years ago, so it's time for tires--those go on tomorrow. It's also time for an oil change.

And if things go according to plan, we'll be lapping Sebring this weekend. I don't picture a ton of radical mods, but I figure we can have some fun.

There's some quick pics here: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/projec ... our-240sx/

Glad to be part of the community, too.

Welcome to NICO!
That's one fantastic looking S13... but too bad about the rear hatch rust :( How are the frame rails?
How many miles are on it?
I bought a stock '93 about a year ago. Blown rear shocks, incredibly warped rotors, clutch didn't work, etc. It was a shaky 750 mile drive home :)

Pretty neat.

Might I suggest you remove the spoiler, weld the holes, and get it professionally painted? (or get a hole-less one, and do the same with it) Because the rest of that paint is amazingly beautiful. That's what my car looked like in 92, and ceased to look like many times over since then.

Also, baseball stitching is easy, if you wanted to keep the stock wheel with cruise and such, you could strip and leather wrap that one your self, I'm sure.

Nice to see another stock 240 that's not trashed. Mine isn't totally stock anymore due to age and failure of certain components but check out my thread "200k club" for some pics. Glad to have you join the club!
