check my avic d3 install write up for reverse wire color ... its not difficult, but you will need to either drill a hole, or slightly ry aprt the triunk area near the license plate to run the wire from the camera!

yeah, but I didn't do a write up on that part... maybe you should go ahead and tackle that!

I had a real difficult time getting my backup cam installed. The real difficulty for me was getting the right angle. I tucked it into the plastic accent piece that bolts into the trunk lid, but never could get a good fit with a good view. I eventually got aggervated and just left the camera sticking out abut 3/8" from the bottom of the plastic just above the license plate. Not near as stealthy as what I wanted, but its the best I could do.

this depends on what type of camera you get.. most of us got the license plate camera... very stealthy and a breeze to install! Night vision is amazing on these also!

After my neighbor told me hers got ripped off, I decided against it since they stick out and yell "steal me." I got the Boyo WTK-350 but I am looking at some other models that have a smaller footprint that might fit a little better.

I'm not sure the boyo license plate camera yells steal me any more than the vtk-350. Unless you flush mount it into the rear bumper or something. in any case, I think this http://cgi.ebay.com/BOYO-VTL30...A1318

is way more stealth looking than this

but that's just my opinion

I installed my dnx7120, XM and Blue Tooth. Now, I want to do the back up camera. There are several out there, Kenwood has a cube external type and there are the boyos. Heck, Panasonic has a cheaper version of the Kenwood with the same specs. My question is. Does it really matter if your back up camera is CCD or CMOS. There is a considerable difference in price. I have been looking at the Boyo VTL200 Chrome for 108 dollars. A similar model VTL250 is 200 dollars. Whereas the Kenwood cube is 145 dollars and the Panasonic cube is 85 dollars. I am looking to keep it looking stock and am willing to drill if need be. So, CMOS or CCD?

I think the Boyo is made for more like the tour buses or big as SUVs

Does anyone have some pictures of their cameras? I'm sorta considering this but want a nice hidden look to it, not like the license frame one...
