I will like to know the difference between the S13 SR20DE & SR20DET wireing harness........I have an S13 SR20DE engine in my 910 Blue Bird rite now an i am looking to upgrade to the S13 SR20DET engine but what i wanted to know was if the SR20DE wire harness will work on the SR20DET engine so i would not have to wire over my car again......so i could of just use the SR20DE wire harness instead of the of the SR20DET.....Can someone please help me out....

Well the DE did not have coil packs or a ignitor chip to begin with thet the DET had.

you could make it work as long as you install the distributor from the DE in the DET........ but then youll need some kind of management system and some tuning just to get it to run.sooo... it would much easier to just get the harness with the det and use it as their would be no extra parts or tuning involved.
