From my understanding the G37x sedan with the Sport option aka G37X-S is that the S has 18" wheels, sport seats, unique front facia and side sills, sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, and sport seats.

Seems these are very rare. The RWD S on the coupe gets 19" wheels, bigger brakes and sport tuned suspension?

So the Sedan, with the S you get the same suspension as the non-S? Is it possible, how hard? to install the paddle shifters on a non-S?

Harness should be in place, just have to buy the paddles and such. Others on here have done it before on the G35 5AT models:

Should work similar with the 7AT

will the biggest reason i got the xS was the rims and the front end but the bigger brakes and tuned suspension would be nice but doesnt help me all that much

Well even though the XS is just cosmetic, not having to buy wheels and paddles would be a plus. Although I think 19" wheels would look best on this car as there is quite a bit of tire profile even with 18" so maybe I am better off getting an X and buying wheels and paddles for it.

I read up on difference between 07/08 G35x and G37x and now I think I'm open to the G35 as the only significant difference is 7AT instead of 5AT, 20 more HP and "self healing paint" I've heard complaints though on the G35 paint quality, maybe holding out and spending a little more than I want on a G37x would be worth it though. By my estimate as similar mileage 08 G35X goes for about $2K less than an 09 G37x. Maybe resale will be better on the 37 though all things equal?

Since I'm more into the luxury nowadays than the sport, I'm wondering about the Sport Seats. They say they have manual thigh support adjustments. Is that the cushions on the side of the thighs or is that the ability to actually extend out the bottom of the seat further forwards?

i probably would love the paddle shifters though... on my next service ima ask how much it is to get those installed... but not having the paddle shifters wasnt a deal breaker so i didnt worry about it too much... even though i drive in manual mode a lot... :yesnod

I have the paddle shifters and I use shifter itself instead. Only time I would probably use the paddles is when doing auto-X or something similar.
