brandonbeeb wrote:Hey guys, ive already got a warning about posting thread for taking interest in parts but i just wanted to share with you guys that i have found a company that will do coilovers for us if we can get 10-15 orders together. the general cost is 700-900 for the kit. it will come with everything and will be made by ddm tunning out in san diego. i was just on the phone with one of there guys and he can also get us springs for $175 if we do a large order. and we could get them to what ever specs we wanted. anyways guys let me hear some thoughts on the coil over situation as im really happy that i found someone to start this for us
AWESOME! lots of people have been waiting for coilovers! great find!

Brandon, will these coilovers be adjustable form the inside or outside? How low can you drop them without expected camber adjustment? With the Eibach prokit, the drop is like 1.5 so I'm guessing not more than 2" before you need to adjust camber.

hey all the info i have so far is that there 32 way adjustable, come with the casters. heard they get there parts from the same company that does alot of the bigger name coils. in terms of specs there open to what ever we have in mind for drop heights and what not. lifetime warranty on these. price is looking to be 600 for these and if where not happy with the test car we get a full refund. i believe we found our test car and we need to get atleast 10 kits. to put it in perspective by the time you buy shocks and springs youve spent atleast 500 so for another 100 why not get something adjustable. im not making any money out of this im just trying to get some coil overs for us lol

ok so basically they want a little bit more to do the test car i believe its 750 but well get everyone in the groupbuy to throw in an extra 20 to cover the extra cost on the test car. i need to get the 10-15 spots filled by word of mouth no money needed before i can get more details from them. so we need atleast 7 more

How long do they need the prototype vehicle for? If SaiDori doesn’t do this I might. I live near SD and have 3 days off a week and can take more if needed.

only way you can do testing is if you would be willing to buy the kit, they would probably only need it for 3 days to be honest.

Do they need both a 2.5 and 3.5?

at the moment i believe it would be for the 3.5 but i can check to see if we can get testing done for both and if thats the case see if the 10-15 orders can be a mixed order.

Different enough for Eibach to use different springs for the different applications

The 3.5 has a more sport tuned suspension out of the box, I'm sure that's a combination setup with their struts, springs, and bars. I'm sure an entire coil over replacement would be interchangeable on both models

Well if they are also looking for a 3.5, I'm in San Diego and I can help out.
