Sick start man i can't wait to see it all wrapped up. I need more info on the following:

Block Precision Prepped and Grout Filled

Conversion to 90% clampless water lines (all dash fittings, bungs welded where required)

I'm not to familar with what these processes are can you shed some light on them. Also you said you moved your injectors to the underside of the plenum. Do you have pics of there placement and what you did to the stock injector locations?

Cheers

EDIT: What are the specs on the cams you are running?

Sorry mate all specs on cam profiling, flow rates are pretty well under wraps until its all completed...

Block has been thouroughly prepared, grout filling is to stop bore flex (strengthening the block)..

No pics of anything else so far, I cannot take full credit for the clampless fittings process as I had help, however I am also keeping that process under wraps.. until its all completed..

I am happy to provide more info once everything is complete to help the broader CA community, but I also need to be a little selfish first

Cheers

Some more gear arrived today, all the valvetrain arrived...

Dual valve spring..

RB25 exhaust valve is on the left.. (CA on right)

On the inlet its not very clear, RB on left is +1mm..

Solid Lifter..

Titanium Retainer (Although I think its a little bling more than anything)..

All up the entire valve train will only weigh 2168 grams (not inlcuding valve guides, cams or shims) I will need to weigh the stock setup..

Cheers

Correct they are dash 8 fittings...

The build consists of multiple dash fittings from dash 3 right up to dash 12 for a variety of cooling, brake, powersteering, fuel and oil lines..

heheh and baller was a humourous spin on the build itself

The RB valve was chosen for its stem length (still needs to be machined to suit the lift), plusses are the extra sufrace areas of the valve heads..

The extra surface area of the exhaust valve head interested me the most as it will increase the efficiency of the exhaust flow (with ca valves it was 83% efficiency at peak flow)... but yeah boring will be required...

These arrived today, last pic for a while going to be three or so weeks to finish off the engineering, then I will assemble the motor..

I didn't grasp the size of the MSD Coils until they arrived, they are insanely big...

props for the build so far.

The only thing i see to watch out for is the ajusa gaskets. I just did a valve job on mine with the ajusa gaskets and fitment wasnt that good on the intake gaskets for example. I should've gone with felpro.

are those aligning pins on the head something you added for the intake mani, or is that nissan standard for the 4 port head?

Hi Greg, The dowels have been added by my engineer to ensure the correct alignment, they are not from factory..

It is also an eight port head, not a four port... its just had a lot of material removed..

Cheers

So do you, my friend. Don't think I don't know what you're sitting on . But anyways, nice stash "meminto" and I can't wait till you get yours on the rollers as well. This ought to be interesting when everyone get their bling-bling CAs out of their garages. I'm on a HP chase and so is Overboosted180 who's project is again in my hands and pack some of the same goodies as us bling-kings(per say). Keep 'em coming guys...........

Not much else has happened...

The motor should be ready to assemble within 2 weeks, the cams should be with my engineer next week..

The duration is not as agressive as first thought, however the lift is a little more agressive...

I am awaiting the last of my items and there will be some adhoc bits n pieces that will need ordering I am sure... mostly the odd dash fitting that I havent taken into account, considering I now have well over 100 fittings lol

OS Giken twin plate clutch has been sourced, the extreme setup I had would have been ripped to shreds..

I will run the manual box until it fails (I am hoping to get at least a couple of runs out of it) then I will modify a decent auto to suit...

Cheers..
