 Don't do it!.
Don't cheap out on a turbo. A radiator or intercooler is different, all it does is cool air/fluids. But a turbo is one of the things worth spending more money on.

Who ever told you that is on crack. CXracing is a super cheap china made turbo thats luck of the draw if it lasts more then a week.

If your on a budget buy a used garret or a holset. Garrets are proven but the cheap ones have out dated designs, and holsets are made here in South Carolina, and are suuuuper durable, and they spool very fast and are dirt cheap.

I saw an fc get tuned with an ebay turbo. The turbo hit like 5lbs at 6k rpm, probably the worst turbo ever.

I've had one on my ka fora few years now. Not exactly a "cxracing" one but i'm sure they all the ebay ones come from the same place. I have an oil restrictor though unlike most who run them.

im assuming this is for a KA T

go holset; you can find them cheep on craigslist; and its a t-3 flange. so before you buy a manifold just get one with that flange pattern.

and WC had some trouble w his radiator from CX racing; i would probably steer clear. maybe the intercooler, since thats just cooling the air.

I did my research on this as well before my build. A good buddy of mine has had the direct bolt on gt28 for the RB20/RB25 CXracing turbo for going on three years now and is extremely happy. He daily drives it and drifts it at events down in socal. Ive been using mine for about 3 months now and so far im liking it. Power band is great, spool up is quick.

Ive purchased cheap turbos off ebay in the past and just looking at them made me nervous. But the quality is def. different on the cx turbo. I can't put it in the same category as the cheap china ones from my past. Plus the china ones ive used would cost anywhere from 150 bucks to no more than 275. (Threw those into honda kids motors for money back in the day lol) I do plan on eventually upgrading to a top mount setup and a larger turbo. But for the price (i payed around $470) and the direct bolt on w/ no modifications... its a good little turbo. (just checked their website, they are asking $589 for it now)

But again, this is in no way saying that it is better than garret holset turbonetics etc. Obviously if you have the money, go with it.

Here are some pics of it and my setup.

look for a t3 off a 300, or one from an sr20, or even rb20.
