Working on getting a new Exhaust, 2004 Path, Muffler is getting pretty ripe. Got a quote on a custom cat back, basically aluminized pipe, Vortex/Flowmaster muffler, replace resonator with just pipe, shiney chrome tip..... Question, has anyone put on a flowmaster super 44 and just attached a down pipe after... Pro's/Con's?

I've got a 40 series on mine with pipe back. It definitely has a nice deep rumble at idle, as you go from 2k-3k you'll hear it drone though.

This is all based on my 40 series. But for my setup, it was hacked off pre-muffler. There was a Y pipe that I bought from napa that was welded with adapters from Autozone for the 2 inlets. The Flowmaster is indeed a 1 in 1 out system. The outlet pipe is 2.5 inches, correct. Then for the resonator, an adapter plate was made from scrap metal for my tailpipe, which is a 3ft long piece of 3.5 inch wide galvanized steel.
