This happened to every single genuine Infiniti battery I ever had in the Q {4 of them if I recall correctly} I installed a AGM Odyssey battery 30 months ago and have never needed to clean the connection, it remains perfect - the AGM type batteries are not acid flooded like conventional batteries and this I believe made all the difference
This is a Costco battery and this is the second time this happened with this brand battery. The previous battery was a NTB (OEM on Infiniti's) and I never had any problems with it. But I got a Costco battery because of the warranty they gave with them. Costco does carry Optima brand batteries and I will go today to take a gander (Funny word, Gander) at them.

I use the $1 treated anti-corrosion felt washers from Wal-Mart. Usually re-use them from battery to battery. I'd just clean it up and try that - I've never a problem with them.

I tired those And they did nothing for me.

BTW the proper method of cleaning the green corrosion is to mix baking soda and water and apply with a throw away brush. After the corrosion melts away, rinse down the area let let dry.
I tried the spray and that also did nothing and the terminals were clean as can be, And I used 1000 Q-tips to clean the rear door checks, front air vents and more on my car.
