So I finally had some time today to take my car to my buddies shop to get a proper check done on the front end of my car and found the compliance bushings on the front lower control arms are the cause of my issues. I have had a tough time finding replacement polyurethane inserts for this car, or any control arm options really.

Is anyone familiar with upgrades or replacement bushings that may work? Even if its from another model?

Eibach and some other company both make aftermarket control arms for the 2006 model cars. They might be specific to the M35, but I dont think so.

Yeah I have seen those and carry them at BMR but they are for the upper only. I have yet to see any options for the lower.

Not of any any help to the topic at hand, but all this time I've been reading your username as "tomato b0mber" In my head I'm thinking, "I suppose sometimes a man has to come up with a username in a pinch." :rotfl
So, it seems I missed a good chunk of the intros, who is BMR?

Haha, usually on the forums I go by PapaVolume or TJs98GT but my old username was inactive and I could not log into anymore here so I made a new one last month.

If anyone has a bad old front lower control arm, and/or the bushing from the rear of it I would gladly take it off your hands and cover shipping etc. I'd like to see if I can either come up with something one-off at the shop, or see if I can get a mold made of the old bushing/housing.

I just dropped my 03' M45 off an hour ago to replace a front control arm bushing. I'd ship the old parts to you if you like - let me know. Thanks, --Dan Z St. Louis, MO

Unfortunately I believe the lower control arm from your car is a different style than the 2006+. Thank you for the offer though!

I have not found any upgrade parts nor do I have the down time with my car to take it apart and fab something up at the shop.

What I ended up doing was ordering NEW replacement ones from nutrend.com/autocare depot(amazon). They sell them for $129 a piece on amazon or $119 a piece on nutrend.com. They are a division of newegg.com so its a reputable company.

BeckArnley Part #s 102-7721 and 102-7720. They list them as 2008-2010 but all 2006-2010 are the same from what I understand.

Is there a reason you didn't order them from Infiniti?

The price difference. I have used Beck Arnley in the past and know they are a quality part.

OEM Control arm with bushing retail $696 + tax
I paid less than $300 shipped for the 2 new arms with bushings. Even after my wholesale discount at Infiniti there is still a substantial price difference.

I do plan on saving my old arms and pressing the bushings off and seeing if we can make our own upgrade bushings and market them as a replacement insert after we finish off some of the bigger projects were working on.

can you take pictures when you replace your old ones. I havent heard of anyone replacing them on here until you. How many miles do you have on it and what were your symptoms?

Sure, anything specific? Did you just want to see pics of the old ones I take out compared to the new ones?

I think he means can you do a HowTo? (See my sig for links to some and follow the same process)

If you could do that, it would be greatly appreciated by the community.
