Question 1) Do you have the plain S or the S with Special Edition Package?
Question 2) Have you attempted to connect a Bluetooth phone to your HU?
Question 3) Did you RTFM?
Your NISSAN is equipped with the Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System. If you have a compatible Bluetooth® enabled cellular phone, you can set up the wireless connection between your cellular phone and the in-vehicle phone module. With Bluetooth® wireless technology, you can make or receive a hands-free telephone call in your vehicle.

Once your cellular phone is connected to the in-vehicle phone module, no other phone connecting procedure is required. Your phone is automatically connected with the in-vehicle phone module when the ignition switch is placed in the ON position with the connected cellular phone turned on and carried in the vehicle.

Did you get the upgraded stereo with hands free controls?
If so, the Bluetooth is on automatically. You just have to pair up your device.

Yep! Say, what's the automotive equivalent of PEBKAC?

It runs on the battery so you have to charge it once in a while or keep it in usb charging port. For $30 I don't think you'll find a better solution.

Bumping a 4 month old thread because I found something on Amazon that people may like to try out:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E5CBHCE/

It's a bluetooth "hockey puck" which support bluetooth streaming audio and NFC pairing.
Has a USB for power and a 3.5mm jack for output to the headunit. Not bad for about $25.
