Hi, wondering if anyone has or can find a picture of the front differential from NISAAN CIMA four (AWD) model, is it the one with combined oil pan and differential style or not? Ive searched around but can find anything on the transmission setup or front suspension type for this car!

THANK YOU in advance!

Hi,

I am in Australia and have a couple of these AWD Cima motors.
I also have an intact front cut of this same model.

I have a heap of images on my old desktop of the first one pulled apart.
I would be happy to share them with you.
Do you have a email address I can send some of them to?

To answer some initial questions, yes it has a front diff built into the side of the sump.
But unlike the R32, R33 and R34 GTRs the front diff housing is steel and is bolted to the sump.
Also the front diff is larger.
There are several differences is suspension components too.

Cheers

Andrew

Fora all this time from the start of the thread until now I was looking for some pictures of the front differential with no luck, I came to a conclusion that it is most likely same as FX45 set up! And, I was so hoping it will be integrated into the sump!((( But ill pm you my email for some pictures!

I never knew that the CIMA had a 4 wheel drive options available. Infiniti sure made them available on models in US for G and M models but never a Q45. Interesting.....
