Hey, all. Let's see if any of y'all remember old Drew. :gapteeth:

Well, it's been years but I'm glad to see so many Q (and their owners) still alive. I've stepped away from Infiniti for a while but may be returning soon. I lurk now and then but thought I'd pop in and say hi. Currently driving 3rd Gen Dodge Dakota and 7th Gen Accord. Both are extremely reliable vehicles, but my G50 (90Q) had more power and was more fun than both combined.

Well I must say that I miss the level of technical expertise and deep knowledge found on this forum. I've never encountered the likes of it anywhere else. I really learned a lot from you guys over the years and I carry it with me now. Speaking of which, whatever happened to Q45Tech?

...Drew...

Drew..... hmmmm, 1992 and ATL area? going by memory.
you are way more likely to see Dennis than any of us. Hasn't been on the board for years (at least that I know of).

Yes, I owned a 1990Q, but no longer. I live in Atlanta and got my guides done at T-3. Met Dennis there and subsequently, a few more times.

HAHA...Thanks, R. I remember that well... I had to wire that sucker down to some wood. Sept of 2010, IIRC.

Your warranty is up, BTW. :chuckle:

We haven't see him in years, lots of regulars that have dropped off over the years, but if you look at the number of threads on this section of the board still the busiest one. The other sections are dead zones, I have tried to get answers on my X-Terra and Z but there are much better places. This is still #1 of 1-2-3 Gen Q'ers.

Truth. Fact of the matter is forums in general are taking a beating to Facbook groups and things of that nature on social media, rather than people going on forums. People tend to get faster answers and people are on facebook anyway, so it makes sense but it sucks from the stand point that you can't search old posts and things like that.

I recently joined the VH45DE page on FB. As Wes mentioned, it is super hard to find older posts without scrolling through all of them! Also, most of the people on there are just kids who wanna stick the Q's engine in their 240SX, 300ZX, Skyline, etc! They seem to have a very high percentage of blowing up engines too! There are several G50 owners though.

Pass my 92 everyday, stare at it, miss it. Took me about 2 months to finally run over and start it up. She hates me 'bout now. I abused the sh*t out of her for the better part of 200k miles and she misses it now. Need to give her some attention

She's suffering from BQS "Battered Q Syndrome" :chuckle:

I didn't drive my Q for about a month, and put about 500 miles on it last week.. I put new idler pulley bearings in finally after breaking down the $40 for new bearings and the hour of my time to do it... Every time I drive that car makes me (sorta) want to get rid of my G35 and just drive the Q full time. It's such a nice driving car, considering the mileage and usage.. I need to spend $10 on an o2 sensor socket so I can replace one of my o2 sensors, and with an alignment she'd be driving straight and true, purring like a kitten and getting 24 MPG.

With gas as cheap as it has been, I've been driving her more.. It's not like it's gonna hurt the resale value... :gapteeth:

Heath, thanks. Hope all is good with you.

Wess, I remember replacing my idler pulley bearing with some online ones that were selling cheap. Napa pressed it in. Never had an issue. You get 24 MPG in a G50? Hmmmm.... LOL
