Well i have decided to let you all know what i have found. I wanted side skirts but i am poor. I liked the look of the s14 oem skirts on the s13 hatchs but again i am poor. I went to the junkyard to see what i could find. I found that the 95 4 door ford explorer (and any other year in that style) has a very straight side molding so i took it off and sure enough it will work. I cut it to fit, drilled three holes in the seam that runs along the bottom of the car and then used three bolts per side and mounted them up using the existing holes in the molding. I used 3m molding tape to mount to the side of the car. The only problem with these is that they flare in the rear so a heat gun may help to mold it but the gap is quite small. I am picky about how my car looks and this really didn't bother me that much. Here are the pics any question feel free to ask. Just thought that i would help out the poorer people who want options.

This is the exact side moldingMy front fender is miss aligned that is why i have the gap in the front

enjoy nice cheap side skirts

Wow... +1 for ingenuity. Before I scrolled down to the pictures I thought it would look terrible but I stand corrected.

Very nice work. And like the rest I am super impressed with the ingenuity of the project as well as how it turned out aesthetically. Exploders must be a dime a dozen at the junk yards these days, and whats good for the wallet is good for me

that actually compliments the piggy lip really nicely; a little more time with the heat gun and you'll be sittin' pretty.

Thanks for all of the great responces. Makering them fit is really easy. It is just a matter of fitting the rear, marking where the front fender well is and cutting. Then drill the three holes in the seam on the bottom of the car(mine was bent up really bad so i had to spend some time and straighten it up) 3m tape it and bolt it on. I took off one side yesterday and it took all of 5 minutes to put them back on. In the rear where there is the flare you just have to bend it up, drill a hole for the rear screw and attach. The junkyard by me sild them to me for $8, and that was with the front end caps that you don't need. I might cap the front with a simple flap type cover but i am not sure yet. I was rocking the mud flaps and i like that look but these are low. Any other questions i can answer. thanks

Does anyone like the rear spoiler it is not nissan? It wasn't my choice but i like it, it came with the hatch i bought but can anyone guess what it is.

Awsome job. You have a good taste I can tell. Is that a Neon spoiler? I'm kinda digging it. Not too flash and still OEM looking.

yeah it is a neon one but it is dosn't scream that is dosn't belong there. It sticks out the back a little more than stock and is a little wider too. It will probably go when i paint the car but it will stay for now.
