Just don't become too dependent on your GPS unit. I work at a hotel, and when people tell me they're lost, it's usually because they used their GPS. I'll give them directions only after they've turned the stupid thing off.JMed wrote:SNIP
I need one since I use more my cellphone's GPS than my Garmin. And my cellphone screen is bigger (5.3")
Couldn't tell via a quick search but odds are that your SGS3 doesn't output analog audio via USB so you'd need some sort of DAC.ImStricken wrote:Any idea how to get power to the phone and sound out of the phone simpmy through the microUSB? I HATE how we have a headphone jack up top and power below.
Hmm, have you posted this in the Android/Samsung forums? http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s3/ http://www.samsunggalaxys3forum.com/ http://www.droidforums.net/forum/samsun ... -s3-forum/ http://www.s3forums.com/forum/forum.php http://www.android.net/forum/samsung-galaxy-s3/ As well as those from your service provider.ImStricken wrote:Any idea how to get power to the phone and sound out of the phone simpmy through the microUSB? Don't think this is what your looking for, but it's a start http://www.ebay.com/itm/imobi4-Samsung- ... 3a7b0fc49d
Amazon has a Micro USB OTG to USB 2.0 Adapter cable compatible with Samsung© Galaxy S III / S3 http://www.amazon.com/eForCity-Adapter- ... d_cp_cps_2
That dock that I have, the iBolt transmits the sound and charges the S3 while docked. So all you would need to do is run the wire (it comes with a 9ft Cable) the way you said & plug that in!ImStricken wrote:Any idea how to get power to the phone and sound out of the phone simpmy through the microUSB? Same here, I own the first Galaxy Note since it came out on AT&T, hopefully I can get the Note 2. The holder that I had before and I gave away can hold a phone up to 8.5", but the only thing I did not like is that it used to move around like one of those bubble head dolls that people put in their carsLeo2005 wrote:I'll be looking for a new spot soon with new holder since I'm about to get note 2
From AT&T Website:ImStricken wrote:whats the width of your Notes? i can measure my holder for you guys if you want.
