Changing the rear wiper blade on a Versa hatchback.
Forget your gear or battery terminal pullers, and just believe that the service manual lied about using a 12mm socket to take oft the wiper arm.
These blades snap on or off.
Just grab that puppy firmly, and make sure that you restrain the wiper arm so you don’t bend it, and pull on the blade. You may wish to pad the back window or your hand so you don’t rap your knuckles. The blade should just come off in your pulling hand.
If you wanted a graphic depiction of how they go together, get an ANCO blade [without buying it] and look at the back where they describe a “snap claw” connection for the blade. Their depiction is almost identical to what you will see if you take these things completely down.
I'd post the pictures I took, but all I get when I click on the "IMG" button is the letters "img" in the middle of the text.
The new blade just snaps into the place of the old one.
