I have a 300zx Convertible NA, reasons why i think it would be better to swap the 350 engine into it as opposed to the VG30DETT ( Z32 Twin Turbo Engine)
- No problems with turbos and don't have to worry about turbos leaking, boost controller, overheating turbos ect .. i just hear alot of problems with turbos
- Im quite sure the VQ motor is alot ligher then the VG motor that gives you more power right there just by the weight your saving
- With the 350z transmission you get a 6 speed ( better for gas milage) not that the last gear has any power at all
- Newer Engine less worries about stuff falling apart if left stock (unless you fully rebuilt a VG)
- More space too work with beacuse im pretty sure the VQ would sit farther back then the VQ would
IMO it sounds like a better idea then a TWIN TURBO but im not sure how hard it would be to modify to put the VQ motor in ?
