I'm shopping for a 2008 Certified Pre Owned G35 and a dealer told me that the warranty provided after the standard 4 yr 60k warranty that you get with a CPO vehicle only covers powertrain. Infiniti usa website says the basic warranty is extended to 72month 100k miles, but they don't define the word basic.

Which is correct?

I know that. I'm talking about differences of opinion on Certified Pre-Owned. Some dealers say the extended warranty you get with a CPO car only covers powertrain, others say it extends the 4yr / 60k miles warranty and yet the infiniti website is vague on the issue. Just wanted to get clarification.
