Thinking about getting these for my birthday http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/07-08-NI ... ccessories
Does any one:
A) Know of any lower prices?
B) Have experience with this set of halos? Are they pretty much plug-n-play or did you have to monkey around to get the smaller lights to work?
C) How exactly do these work? The halos come on when you have your parking lights on and then the regular lights come on when you turn them on?

I wouldn't get them. They look good but after a while they start having issues.

Why is that? Is it because of the bulbs or halo lights in general? I've wanted halos for so long and I could probably fix any minor problems. Any one else with them feel the same way?

I dont have them but I've heard of members that have owned them and had issues. It's mostly the upper LED lights.

The issues I've heard of were:
1. Adjustment isn't enough, so they've had to shim them up/down to make them shine on the road right
2. LED lights consistently burning out do to poor wiring

I have heard of more people enjoying theirs than people having problems with them. If they are what you want, go for it.

Did you check Amazon.com? There are 4 or 5 sellers. I saw a set for less then $300.00. I'm thinking about buying them for my car.
I am sure that all Versa's except the new sedans, use the same headlight.
LED's do not like too much heat. I've got them in my stock front makers and no problems so far. If you are running HID's heat may be the problem.

They come with the Halogen bulbs installing in them but you can switch them out with the HIDs like i did. I put in 6000k HIDs in mine, just requires a bit of work nothing extremely complicated. Also i did notice recently that the three leds above the Halos flickering mostly due to faulty wiring. Which you can easily fix that yourself.
