Hi Guys,

Shortly after installing a motordyne M370 my car went into limp mode following some spirited driving. I took it in to my mechanic who pulled the codes P0603 EngineControl Memory, P0021 Timing Cover, P0524 Oil Pressure.
I don't have any oil leaks and my levels are fine. I have no idea what is happening, or what may have caused these codes to show. Anybody with similar issues or problems that has any idea of whats going on with my car?

Any help would be appreciated

I have not seen anyone specifically having problems with installing the M370 itself but that does not mean it's not causing an issue. I'd go through the FSM for each of the codes and troubleshoot. If you fear it's the manifold then swap it back and reset the system.

Overall impressions of the M370? Most claim the increase is minimal without FI but I've seen one test showing 12hp/12tq in the midrange. Others have said there were insignificant gains on theirs with dyno testing to prove it. It's hit-n-miss dependent on the bolt-on's you may have.

Thanks for the reply my friend that helps..... Not to be a bonehead but what is FSM? I'm drawing blanks with those initials. An online Infiniti mechanic suggested that I change back manifolds and see if that helps, he also said K&N CAI's are not really good for the G37 as they have a tendency to make the engine run real lean. As for engine bolt ons, I have K&N Typhoon Series 69 CAI's, ARK Performance exhaust, and the Motordyne thats all.. What do you think? Should I try changing the manifold back and clear the codes, see if that helps?

FSM is the factory service manual...you can find them here:

The only real issue with K&N is their filter oil tends to foul the MAFs and they are not the best at filtering.

Go through the codes to see if it's some other issue first. Obviously putting the factory manifold back on and resetting everything would tell you if that was the real problem or not.
