Hi, I want to know if I can fit these on my car. I have the coupe 240sx, and I'm also going to get some lowering springs and shocks too. Will this hinder my future setup? If so what can I do? get 17 x 7 in front and 17 x 7.5 in back?

Wheel style? Offset? Blah, blah? You can fit a 245 on the wheels, but will they fit the car, dunno. How about leaving us a little more informed. I'd say yes but you're probably looking at some 55+mm wheels, which won't fit at all even without tires.

The wheels are on Veloxperformance.com, they are Vx-8 black, the tires I am getting are Goodyear too. That's all I know.

Thanks

a 17x.7.5" in less than a 40mm offset will be fine with a 215-45-17, but I would run a 225-45-11 since thats the precise rim width for that tire, and it will yeild a nicer contact patch for you.

ask for the offset weight, etc from whoever your buying wheels from. buying a bigger wheel that isnt lighter or at least as light as your stock wheel will not help yuor performance that much other than getting a higher-performance tire selection...-chet

Hey, is it possible to make the wheel width smaller in the front so to make the overall look seem like the rims are thinner in the front than in the back??? b/c velox will not make 17x8.

First off, why?

Second, why?

Just go 225/45/17 all around. You will be very happy. If you really want to go wider in the back, get different wheels...something like a 17x7.5 in the front and a 17x8.5 in the rear...but don't make your fronts smaller than they should be just for 'look'.

Also, use this link as a guide to tire/wheel width ( http://www.yokohamatire.com/utrimwidth.asp ).

I ran 18x7.5 with a 45mm offset with no problems. now only if those rims were light......

I said no problems, as in, no rubbing coilovers. most 7.5 in a 45mm will scrub as far as I know, they might not scrub stock shock mounts...-chet

i would go with a 225 in front, and 235's in rear b/c if yoiu plan on more future power you will need a wider tire to put it to the ground. also look at the prokit instead of the sportline; unless you want a BIG drop.
