Can anybody help me with my Ca18det

If you put a timing belt on this motor with the valve covers off, that's a miracle. I've always had to get a big crescent wrench on the cams and rotate them to get the dots on the cam gears to line up with the dash marks on the back cover.

You must've meant with the valve covers "on", right? If so, I do it all the time and the way I do it is much more simpler and exact than playing with the 39 cogs or removing the valve covers and breaking my solid seal ;) .
