Well, I usually don't take advice from anyone, especially when it comes to my car. I do what I want and carry out the task myself. However, I thought it would be interesting to see what others opinions are. I want to change the color of my front and rear calipers. I am running Stoptechs up front and Z32 out back. Right now they are basically just a mat black. I want something a little more flashy behind the Meisters. The black on the Stoptechs is starting to look faded either from heat or some cleaner that I accidentally used on them over a year ago. I figured it would be a good time to change the color. I liked the gold Brembos on my Sti, even with gold Volks on it. I was also considering red. I will have my friend that runs a body shop do the paint, so any imaginable color is available to me. But I don't want anything too stupid. I will also probably change those plain crap looking black lug nuts.

Maybe white or a silver to go with the rest of the car. Red/black seems too common to me. Blue would probably be neat also.

One thing I have not seen yet is white, I know it'd be PITA to maintain, but on your car with gold lettering, I think would look awesome. It would be elegant, classy and compliment your beautiful Meisters...

the brembo gold is cool but your wheels are gold...maybe red but it looks played...

gloss black would probably be the best.

btw, your brakes are HUGE.

i wondering maybe a deep really deep candy red on the brakes but leave the name of the caliper alone and sand them to look ruff and raw....

or as one of my friend did to his road cage marbleize them....

A color that will match the Lug nuts.

Like an Anodized Blue along with Anodized blue lugs.

Or the White idea. But cleaning is not going to be fun. I guess you would only have to clean them before meets and shows and what not. But its not a bad idea.

But matching the lugs would be cool. Whatever color u go with.

But i like your style and i think that if you stood out in your drive way and stared long enough it would come to you. YOUR style would project onto it and you would amaze us once again.

One Love,

Ghasty

I vote like a rich, blood red. Bright red screams look at me and you dont want to really take attention away from your wheels. It may be too much of a contrast. A deeper red a little above a maroon would sit nicely and still be noticed, AFTER they checked out your wheels. Even the same idea in like a blue or something.

This is just one mans opinion though.

You lowered your car didn't you... It's sits so nice now. Your polished lipped meisters would go great with calipers like these:

And gold or white lettering.

PAINT TEH CALIPERZ CLEAR! LOLZERS.

just kidding. somebody mentioned a candy red; maybe candy red with gold lettering, or candy orange with chrome/silver lettering.. i think you could pretty much puke on the calipers and clear-coat 'em, and they'd still turn out nice on your car.

somebody also mentioned white; i think one of the moderators has white, and he said they built up brake dust or something.. i think it was an up-hill battle anyway, but i do like white. with pearl or something.. though it wouldn't show up much tucked behind your wheels.

IMO either black, white or gold to go with the car. It would look awesome with any of them. I think that any color other than what you already have on your car would look ridiculous.

blue to match the "work wheels" logo on your wheels. It looks pretty dark in the pics and it will should be easy to clean.
