Hey y'all!!
Haven't been on here for a few years..
Looks like i might be getting back into the seen pretty soon. with that being said i have a couple of questions, that i figure you all might be able to help me with or at least help to guide me in the right direction.

I am in the military and i am so to transfer out to SanDiego.
A good busy of mine is going to sell me his V8 swapped 1975 280, and i was wondering if anyone is familiar with the registration laws out there. the motor in the car is basically junk ( We believe the rings are shot )

My buddy bought the car a few years back from a fellow who did the conversion / swap and the dude had let the car sit for many years. NE way I happen to have a 1J from a previous project i would consider transplanting if need be.

Basically my question is what is the Best way to register a 1975 Datsun in Cali.

Thanks for everyones time.

Welcome! As I reside in CA, I can tell you it shouldn't be an issue to register it because vehicles MY 1975 and older are CA Smog Exempt which would have been your biggest concern. Now, it's no longer a concern. Hope this helps!
