I picked up a Micronair filter from Canadian tire and got the job done in about 10 mins thanks to the helpful tips on this thread.
You can find the OEM manuals here... way better than Chilton or Haynes:RogueFlyer wrote:I still wish there was a Chilton’s or a Haynes manual for the Rogue though since I will do everything I can that is not covered under warranty
Yes, it is possible to change the filter without removing the gas pedal. A step-by-step was shown earlier in this thread.rrs26ja wrote:No need to remove the gas pedal, loosen the brake pedal........
Thanks for pointing this out. I will fix the photos shortly...88GrapIridium wrote:Is it just me or my browser? The photos on how to change this filter which I suppose would be very helpful, are cut-off on the right side by a verticle gray column.
Welcome Micheal Foster to the NICOClub Rogue Forums!Michael Foster wrote:The cabin air filter is either located under the dash board or in the cowl.wbloomfield wrote:Where is the cabin air filter?? Does anybody know? Maybe you can explain how to change it..
Thanks...
You are correct, the airflow goes from the front of the vehicle towards the rear.Shysox wrote:1) Does anyone know which way the air actually flows? I assumed it was from front of the car to the rear.
Perhaps because it doesn't make a difference which way the flow is on the OEM filter. It's just a simple paper/fabric media.2) Why wouldn't Nissan print a "flow arrow" on the original part like my replacement filter??
Hi enzo100 thank you for this instruction it helps a lot, just did it in 5-10 minutes... appreciate it again... you saved me megabugs at the dealer... have a good day man...enzo100 wrote:The filter is located to the right of the gas pedal inside the center console.
1) First, remove the panel ......... .........and your done. Hope this helps.

It looks so easy. Gas pedal does not need to be removed.

Or pay $10US for the same thing from eBay.bam48 wrote:Just want to confirm how easy it is to change the cabin filter. No need to go to the dealer. I just viewed the how to video on this forum and followed it to a T. Dealer quoted me $85.00 plus tax. I purchased a new filter at Canadian Tire for $21.00 and had it installed in under 10 minutes. Thanks to all the good advice here.
