Ok guys i have a 1997 Nissan Hardbody and i've just bought a CA18DET swap i know it will bolt in. What i need to know is how to wire that white plug up that i guess it goes to the gauge cluster or something. Any info would help out. Thanks

If it's anything like the sr swap I'm going through, then it's not a simple drop in.

Do you have any wiring pin outs for the SR into a Hardbody? From what i've read the wiring is the same for the SR and the CA.

as far as gauge cluster wiring. you should be able to match color for color on the ca plug to hardbody plug. i don't know if it is indeed the same as a car or not. on the sr and ca you can match them up and it works fine in the cars. you have to have a dohc gauge cluster to have the tach work though. you'll have a lot of extra wires left over. from what i understand they go to the check connector. but i don't know if there is a difference w/ the japanese version. we've just hooked up the wires that matched and capped off extra wires and it has worked fine everytime. like i said this is for s13 and s14 240sx's not a truck but i would assume it would be similar.
