I turn my car on today to hear some music and to clean it up a bit and I have the key in accessory and I hear this buzzing noise under the hood and on the right fender and when I press the gas it goes away meaning when the car is off I open the throttle a little bit while under the hood.

what the heck is it?

o yea I have TCS and this car has been maintained I have at least 30 recipts from the owner from transmission fluid changes to wheel rotating, and all of the under plenum hoses have been done twice.

TCS pump is located in that area, also abs may have sticking relay{but that is more like the rear of passenger side front fender area} only other thing I can think of in that area would be windsheild washer pump, but doubt that is the issue!

Sure it's not the ABS pump? If so, check its relay.

would the nissan consult be able to find the bad relay?

If so I will be taking the car in a couple of weeks for a general diagnostic for $130 they will check everthing that can be checked with consult and give me a free wash and a vacume but I don't need either of the latter.

"Free wash and vacuum" ? Sounds like they are giving you the lube and rear end special!

Do it yourself and treat yourself to a prime steak dinner out.

Do a little more reading and you will discover blue relays can be interchanged for testing. RTFSM.

LOL!! Its only good if theres a happy ending!!

Do you have any issues with the TCS or any other usual things, or is there just a noise? When the TCS actuator goes bad they often start buzzing..

Well sometimes the dash says SLIP when I put it in reverse and drive but only sometimes but other than that the TCS works fine, Bu that could be attributed to a bad brake caliper that's sticking in the front right side that will be replaced next week. Don't worry I will buy two and get new pads and rotors for even wear AGAIN.

And high temperature lube for the pins!

Having a shim kit on hand is always good.

I hate to bring up an old topic.

But its still there when I press the down on the throttle when the ignition is on and the car is off, could this have anything to do with a throttle position sensor being bad?

And I checked the ABS relay and its good.

If it makes a difference I hear a ticking noise when the engine is cold but when its warmed up its till their but its quieter.

It sounds like an injector ticking noise because I know its not the HLA's or the timing chain. I also OHM'ed the injectors and there all at 12.xx.

I'm going to guess it's related to your TCS actuator? Have you tried listening for the noise under the hood while moving the accelerator cable by hand at the throttle body?

OK to clear things up if anyone is confused: When I have the car in PARK and the IGNITION ON, Well one day i accidentally pressed the gas pedal and I heard a buzzing noise coming from some where, So I pressed it again and it was a constant buzzing noise till you have the pedal all the way to the floor.

So is this buzzing noise from the engine bay normal with Ignition on and the car in park when you open the throttle a little bit?

Its not comiing from the TCS actuator, Injectors, Throttle position sensor, ABS relays or anywhere else I tried to listen to with the mechanics stethoscope.

Well, obviously it's not running or you would seriously stress the engine.

Maybe it's going into the flooded start mode?

Not sure what your concern is as this is not a normal mode of operation.

So its a ECM issue?

Could this have anything to do with a weak injector?
