I kinda like it, wondering about the length of the lip at the bottom. And you said your building a custom body kit, are you fabing it up yourself or just assembling peices off of different kits?

Love the bumper but no fan of the knock off hood vents from the knock off 90's bat mobile.

Hi all,

To begin with thanx for your reply'sI am putting the body together by different existing parts from other manufacturers, i was gong to do a complete custom body kit because i have done them before ( my job ) but i saw things i liked out there and did not feel like having to re-invent the wheel again.

The lip does not come out far at all its about 1 1/4 inch more then the stock bumper, I hate those tractor looking like bumpers out there.

It took me 5 months to get this bumper from the guy, was suppose to take 2 weeks. They are not that good with working with fiberglass so i am not really happy with the finish or the weight, but i will make a mold and make my own. When i am done it will be bouth the same weight of the stock bumper.

Can't wait to start already.

when you say building a custom bodykit do you mean just mix matching peices? i tought you meant you were gonna design and fiberlglass it yourself, but either way good luck i hope it turns out dope, just do me a favor and dont purchase anything from the vader or veildside kits... please

Though I agree with not using Veilside on a Z - I do find them a very respectible company. They've been in the fabrication business for a long time before it was ever popular.

Don't worry there will be NOOO veilside on y car!!!!! not to say that they dont make nice stuff, its just not for the z32. There is allot of fiberglass that needs to be done yet, and ALL I WILL DO MY SELF. I have had a tuning and styling shop for over 12 years and did all the designing and fabricating fiberglass automotive and motorcycle products my self. So that is not a problem, like this complete body kit (with rear wide body fenders I will make molds my self and produce the parts myself. ( will send pictures later of the work and some other work I have done) I want the front bumper to be lighter and less finish to do to it when it comes out of the mold, so I will be making my own bumpers anyway. And the side skirts I am going to add on will not be for my car so I will have to fit it all in with the sides and fenders. It will all look sweet when its done.

One the their kit doesn't look good on the 300. Two they have become very popular with ricer's thanks to the fast and the furious movies.

i happen to think most if not all vieldside body parts are hideous for most if not all aplications. i have yet to see one that i like, plus they are over priced thanx to their new found popularity, their prices skyrocketed

I completely agree Phanatikz, I have to say that I made some good money in the early 2000 to 2004 cause I made molds and sold allot of good quality parts for half the price of the original. And also made models to fit cars they did not even have them selfs. lol

Um, this was made in 2008. The guy who made the thread hasn't logged in since the forum switchover in 2011. The auto email notifications on this won't work wither, since they were on zeroforum. Sorry man, best you can try is PMing the guy.
