I drive a 2004 Infiniti FX with 20 Inch Wheels and was wondering what the best replacement tire is. It has 265/50 20 Goodyear RSA from factory. I'm considering the Yokahama Prada Specs which are a great buy, but have seen reviews that they are noisy and not good in rain/snow. The dealer did not reco they said I should get Michelen Latiture Touring HP, which are about 500 more expensive. Thoughts?

Thx,Ellery

Hankook Ventus ST RH06 265/50/20. Last around 50k miles, great in rain, snow, dry, aggressive thread pattern, etc...

I have nothing bad to say about them. I've driven over 100k miles in them on my previous SUV's (98 QX4, 01 QX4). Highly recommend them.

My 2005 FX 35 Sport has the stock Goodyears and they are spent [23,500 miles]. They always had very poor winter performance, and the ride is rough.

Was wondering if anyone could direct me with a great all year round tire?

Pass on the Yokohoma YK 520s. I thought they would be a good middle of the road tire balancing wear and performance.

They are a bit too slippery for me. One caveat is that I have more torque than a stock FX.

Over on Infinitifx.org and Infinitiscene.com the Pradas seem to have been well reviewed.

Thanks a lot, it sounds like you have one fast FX! I'll let everyone know what I put on and give a review.

Thanks

it always comes down to the yoko parada spec X or the Hankook Ventus... In my experience and other forums, its always a split between the 2, I dont think you will go wrong w/ either one and the price is about the same for them...

Does anyone have any experiences w/ Nitto 420's on a FX35/45 w/ 20" wheels. I was looking possible purchasing these once my Goodyears are thrashed. Thanks.

Greetings to NICOclub! Thrilled to have you in the FX Forum! We hope you enjoy the site!

I have 20" on my Murano with Toyo's, and those seem to be very nice! I am very happy so far, we will see how well they are in the snow soon.

I just purchaced the Hankook Ventus RH 265/50/20 and they are great. The stock Goodyear Eagle tires that came with my FX35 were garbage and all all worn out at 30k. The Ventus has been great so far. Less sound, great traction and looks good. Winter is coming out so I can't wait to see how it does!! The Ventus is a sure thing!!!
