So I am looking for some advice on the best place to buy the Smart Entrance Control Unit for a 2002 Pathfinder....There are currently none for sale on eBay - any advice on best practices? I see most say eBay, but surely there are other places....and for the record, I have tried all of the junkyards in Dallas and no Pathfinders out there (suppose that is a good sign??)....

Thanks
Willy

Give this guy a call if you end up getting one from the dealer, he can get one for the best price:

The box has the FCC ID# on it... as long as those match, it will work:

Not necessarily. The FCC ID has to do with the analog transmitter, not how the digital data is encoded on the
analog signal.

For example, there are two different fobs for 2001 PF. They have the same FCC ID, but are not interchangeable.
The same can apply to the SECU.
