Bee*R Power Builder HELP!!

Bee*R Power Builder HELP!!

Postby Ikera » Mon Apr 23, 2012 3:19 pm

I got my hands on a fried Bee*R limiter

looks like an exploded resistor, I think I might be able to solder a new one in place if only I knew what type of resistor it was.

So I need help from someone who has Bee*R limiter in accessible place, if someone could pop the cover off and take a picture of the resistor that I'm missing (R18) or at least list the colors of the rings on the resistor.

No tools required for this, the Bee*R rev limiters covers just snapped into place and can be easily popped off.

The spot for the exploded resistor is labeled R18

Also does anybody know how does the Bee*R limiter work?
How does it stop the ignition? because cutting ignition wire is not part of the installation procedure.

Do you still need help?

I tried to open mine this morning by undoing the 4 screws, but they just turn.. I saw the tabs for popping off but didn't want to force it in case the screws had to come out first.
