15mm is the minimum you'll need to get them to fit the OEM 19's

you would need either longer studs, or a spacer with new studs in it. i know the v2 ichibas have studs pre pressed in while your factory studs go through the holes

I would get spacers that get bolted down (in other words 5 holes with 5 studs), it would be safer. I would take a look at H&R's to see is they have them.

blueM,
How big of a spacer did you get, was wondering if 15mm was indeed enough to keep our stock 19s? If you have completed your BBK set install, can you post up some pics please?

15mm should be fine to clear the stock 19's..some ppl (as seen above) have gone with 20mm

So here is the update with my install. sorry for the dirty car...as you know the storm was nasty..and my iphone picture quality sucks..but oh well..
ok so im doing my bbk right now as we speak....i actually ran into a couple of problems...
first is..can't use the original brake lines on the M, the M brake lines have a banjo bolt fitting and the bbk has flared out nut..no one has mentioned this but it might also be cause my car is the all-wheel-drive. you don't have to get the brake lines from the dealer you can actually have them made...had to find this out the hard way...
Also i used 20mm ichiban v2 wheel spacers for the oem 19 sport rims...
the tires do stick out about 1inch..i am not sure about the 15mm spacers cause it looks like there's about 1/4 inch clearance from the calipers to the rim...I will stick with the oem 19's for now..but I am thinking about trading anyone with the stock 19 inch G37 sport rims..only cause you do not need spacers with those.
As for the rear install...you have to cut the dust shield as the rotor and caliper won't fit..the dust shield hugs around the rotor so I wized off the looping part
im going to give you guys the complete part numbers i used to do this bbk install.
pictures of just for the fronts cause im waiting for the rear brake lines to arrive..

its in other threads that you need SS brake lines in order for this to work, which are anywhere from $75 on up. I really want this upgrade but have other priorities right now. Good work so far!

maybe cause its in the air?? i dunno man...there's another person on the forum with a white m45 that did the bbk...he painted it white with akebono lettering...and he said he used the 20mm spacer...and it looks fine...maybe the spacer they sent me was 25mm? i gotta check it tomorrow when i go back to the shop...i think 15mm should be ok...but im not sure about that just cause the clearance from the caliper to the rim....blah...if that's the case then i guess i should get the 15mm...but what to do with the 20mm?? i hate this trial and error crap...oh well..i have a lot of work to do and my car is stuck on the lift...shat!!! :gotme

You figure the offset on the OEM 19"s is +50...and the G37 19's are +30...so adding a 20mm will make the M 19's offset go from 50 to 30 which is why is the 20mm should work fine..

The real test will be to have the car on the ground..if it sticks out, you can always sell the 20mm spacers if need be

Also, getting someone to trade you their g37's wheels for your 19's will probably be a little hard..good luck though

hmm...i have a feeling they sent me 25mm...gotta see how it is on the ground...tomorrow will be the day...

yes it will be hard...but im trying to see what my options are...i did spend a good amount of money on this car already where i told myself i wouldn't upgrade anymore...but hey..its in my blood..

im thinking of sending back the spacers and getting the 15mm..
