Dear Readers,

I have a been a long time reader, far before I even purchased my G35X several months ago.

Please check the videos out, the sound will be apparent and emanates from the driver side wheel. The steering does not shake.

Any help would be appreciated before I bring it into the stealership, or hopefully find a good local mechanic. Regardless, I'd like to have somewhat of an idea of what the diagnosis will be, before I bring it in.

Again, I appreciate any advice / help.

BTW, have really enjoyed my G so far, it has close to 85,000 miles.

Almost sounds like a bad tire or loose wheel.
Have you jacked the car up and tried to rock the wheel back and forth both vertically and horizontally? If you have movement horizontally, it usually means a bad tie rod end or bushing somewhere. If you have movement vertically (pushing inward towards the center of the car on the top of the wheel, pulling outward towards yourself on the bottom, and alternate), it means you have a bad wheel bearing.
Also check the torque on your lugnuts.
Welcome to NICO!

If they ARE loose, and you've been driving it like that for a while, you'll probably want to go ahead and replace all the wheel studs. I'm sure they've been damaged/stretched if that's the case.

Yea, I'm going to have someone with some more knowledge take a look at it this week.

In the meantime, the Sentra will see some daylight.
Will post more later this week.

Thanks

Hi,

So it turns out the problem is a bad / worn out wheel hub assembly.

I plan to have this replaced by a mechanic, so now the search begins for the best price.

Fortunately, I have an alternative backup car.

Thanks for the input! :)

BAM! Wheel bearing.
I forgot to mention, if it gets worse as you load that side of the car, and goes away when you unload it (like when you're turning the opposite direction), its most likely a wheel bearing.
