New to NICO....Long time Infiniti owner but never joined any forums before now. Not sure if this is bad etiquette but mexillis1 saw my YouTube video and suggested I put my car on NICO so here I am....Anywho.... My Infiniti is bagged and Smith Chassis & Metalworks did all the work.

Didn't order a kit. I took it to a shop in Indiana(Smith Chassis and Metalworks) and they did everything. I just dropped it off and picked it up. Cost me 3700 out the door.

If you're using the latest IE, you have to hit the compatibility icon in the address bar.

looks good man, why is there a hole up front? Now you just need to post a sound clip of those cutouts. The shop did some nice fabrication on your M, never seen some of those steps that were taken. What kind of air management system are you using and do you have 1/2" lines?

What's up mexillis:) Most of the work was custom fabricated. The install was supposed to take a week but it took them about a month. You can see some of the custom work in the the first few pics. They quoted me 3700 but when I picked up the car they said that if anybody asked they wouldn't do another one for less than 5000. They've done plenty of cars and some of them have been on a few magazine covers but for whatever reason they kept running into issues that were unique to the m45 sport....I.e. all the wheels turn. I don't think they were ready for that:).....which hole are you talking about. There's one picture that shows a hole but that's just a pic showing the spot wear they took out the existing suspension and took out some stuff to make room for the bag. They wanted to make sure it didn't rub against anything... The lines are half inch and I don't have any complaints. The air management system? Im not really sure what you're asking. I'm guess your talking what brand compressors I'm using. I honestly have no idea. I'll take a look at it tomorrow. Think I saw a label on there. I hardly ever open my trunk:)

mexillis I have a video of my cutouts on my YouTube page. It was midnight so you can't really see the car all that well but you can hear it pretty good. I had to change out one of the motors yesterday so I took a pic of the setup....I'll post the pic when I hop on my computer. The video doesn't do it justice though. When the cutouts are fully open the car is crazy loud.

That's the one I was talking about, "to make room for the bags". For air mngmt I mean how do you know where to set it when you drive? I don't see any gauges or anything that let's you know how low/high you are. Do your 2 switches have presets or anyting? Yeah I seen your video when you first posted it, I meant to post it on here. Welcome to Nico by the way, lots of good info on here about moding and general ?'s.

Ahhhh. Got it. I dont have any gauges or presets but you really dont need them. I really didn't want any clunky gauges in my car. If the car is laying on the frame, you just have to tap the switch one time and it will be above the rim. If I hold the switch the car will go to it's maximum height but a quick tap will get me above the rim. The rear bags arent a problem. You can drive as low as you want. I just look out my side mirror and adjust(which normal mean me looking to see how low i can get it). It takes me about 2 seconds to get to the perfect ride height if it's on the frame. I initially wanted a self leveling system that had a few presets but after talking to the shop owner i decided not to. He just told me to play with it as much as i can and it will be second nature to you. He was right. For about a month I kept getting out of my car to check the front clearance. After that first month, I always knew where my car was sitting.....The only thing you really need to worry about is raising the body of the car above the front rims(not the tire). My car is a daily driver so i played with the bags plenty. If it's a car you don't drive a lot I'd suggest getting gauges/leveling system but if it's your daily driver I wouldn't bother. Just play with it daily and it will become second nature to you.... Thanks for the NICO welcome.
