I bought this 1991 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo 5 spd a while back (8 months ago) down in Pensacola, FL when I was in the Navy for about 8,500 with 93,000 original miles, only one owner.
sold the rare Zeus line 18x8 and 18x9 wheels and bought 17x8 ROH snypers.
The first day that I had the car, I was driving it from the dealership, ran out of gas.
The second day, it started overheating
The third day, found out that it had no thermostat in it, a broken fan thermoswitch, and a few other stupid wiring problems. Oh, and the guy who reupholstered the interior forgot to cut out a hole for the passenger door handle
A couple months down the road, my friend 'blows' my motor due to racing (and raping) and integra type r while I was asleep on a road trip back home to MA. PCV valves finally gave up on it and blew all of the oil seals. Oil everywhere. It's been sitting for about 7 months now, my dad and I have been picking at the motor, bought a rebuild kit and its 95% completed. It's coming back on the road soon!
I'm on here to meet some local zx owners, possibly attend some meets or whatever. And i'm also looking for rare/discontinued parts to set my z apart from the rest. I'm sure there's more than that, but I don't feel like typing any more than I have already.
*edit* forgot mods!! diy intercooler water sprayer (water reservoir is a gnc fruit punch creatine jar,) Apexi 'super megaphone' cat back, 3 inch DP, Apexi power intake, tan/black reupholstery, Momo wheel and hub..i forget what pedals it has, kenwood single din/ alpine single din ipod ready, nothing else comes to mind, but i think theres more. - yep, rsr springs and KYB blues.
