Attention lip whores... XENON never went away...

Postby masticatingcow » Sun Aug 20, 2006 8:06 pm

Saw this info floating around another forum... figured there'd be interested parties here...

If you want one, it's pricey - around $250-300 - but you can get it made-to-order through a couple places:

$258.56 .... acually..

haha, I think that's a tad too much.. but then again, people are paying over $100 for a stock zenki lip.. haha, owned.

Yeah, but remember that everyone was told that these were off the market... permanently. I guess someone wised up and made a mold.

iirc i think Sean said they were around $250 new anyway

i saw one for sale like a year and 1/2 ago for like $100...i really REALLY wish id picked it up now

i was going to convert to chuki and put it on, only reason i didnt get it is because buying the chuki bumper fell through...i still couldve made a $150 - $200 profit though

seems like a good deal to me. even though its a few $$, nothing like a clean lip with no herpies....

I wish someone made a lip for my factory aero bumper. eh custom once again......

It's urethane. That's why it rocks so hard.

Yeah, naed's right... urethane. I'll contact the vendors and double check that they're selling the genuine pieces... not fiberglass knockoffs.

It's expensive, but I'm willing to drop that kind of money for a urethane lip that looks freaking awesome. I just need a new front end lol.

I run lower than most 240s dare go, lol.

Yeah, Todd, screw the engine build. Get that lip, with the Magic skirts, and fresh paint. Then never drive the coupe again and/or invest in the best anti-moke alarm ever.

What a white kid, like myself, would call a native Hawaiian/Samoan if he were too lazy to commit suicide.

...It's not actually that bad of a term as it's used on the radio/TV all the time, but it's basically real local guy, normally of the large, haole-hating variety. (haole being technically hawaii's version of gaijin, but typically used in reference to crackaz)

FRP would suck. The whole point of that lip is that it is urethane and looks awesome. It won't ever get destroyed.

Yeah, urethane is the shiznight.

I haven't ordered one yet, but I have inquiries with both companies. I'll probably end up going with the second link.
