Are there higher gears on M37x cars?

Hello,

Here is a question for drivers of M37x models.

My wife has leased a 2011 car. Whether on cruise control or not, at 60mph the car runs at 2000revs.

Every car I have ever driven with over 3 litres drops to 1500 revs at 60mph. The M37x transmission is said to have 7 gears, are any in the upper range?

This car has worse mpg then our previous 2007 Chevy Impala SS.

Are we alone or are there M37x's running at 1500revs out there?

I drive an EX35 with the 7 speed and all wheel drive. It sound like we have the exact same gears as your M37x. I would love a slightly different 7th gear to drop it down on the highway.
