are r32 & z32 suspension components interchangable?

when i purchased my megan coilovers the description for them said that they fit the r32 and the z32, and also they're upper links and tention rods say the same thing, is this only with megan racing or are all coilovers/ upper links, and tention rods interchangeable between the z32 and r32 chassis?

R-chassis and Z32 have interchangeable parts. The rear coilovers are a bit longer, but they can be adjusted to be shorter. For the upper arms in the front, one side needs to be switched over in order for it to fit the R-chassis. But suspension is pretty much identical.

No clue. I doubt they are. Unless they are the same widths, and have the same pick up points.

i hate to bump an old thread but i cant find the info, are the multi links like rucas, r. traction and f. tension the same on the 240sx and z32?

i had full suspension on my 240 but none yet on the z32, but i was looking at the pictures of the rucas and they look exactly the same as the s13's also i think the lower control arms on the back look the same too.

I know the z32, s13, and r-chassis share similar rear suspension setups, like the subframe...

can anyone clarify this?

our rear upper, and lower links are the same, our rear traction rods are the same, i dont believe our front tention rods are the same but i'm not positive, the part number from nissan is different so i'm assuming they are different however i think ours might just be beefier so you may be able to fit them, but i dont know for sure and wouldnt suggest doing it. part numbers for the rear links are: upper link 55130m, lower is 55501 for the right side 55502 for the left side, and the rear traction rod is 5110p. they are the same for z32 and s13, i didnt check for the s14. you can look on courtesyparts.com to verify if you want.

sweet thanks, i have extra parts from the s13 in storage so i wanted to see if they would go on my z32.
