Do it right, do it once. Get coilovers. Don't waste money on springs and then go to coilovers. You're doing the job twice.

D2 coilovers or BC racing coilovers are under $1,000. I'd stick to those two.

I have the springs for my drop and I love them. I have no problems with the ride which is what I was worried about with the coilovers

D2 coilovers drive better & smoother than the oem sport suspension while still getting better handling and being lowered so much more. :dblthumb:

my understand on the Megans is that you can't re-build them and they are not a true coilover set like the D2's.

Most are happy with them until something goes wrong with them.

Megan doesn't sell parts for the coilovers, if you blow a strut you need to buy the strut, spring, ring & sleeve together. I even heard at one point they doen't even sell the rings. And this is if they have it in stock.

other companies will just sell you the part that you need, even if they have to be ordered from overseas.

True coilover have the strut & spring together, this also makes it alot easier to install & adjust. Your rear spring buckets will be empty as the new spring is now located on the strut.

most that have a non-true coilover set has them installed wrong and even more have them adjusted wrong

If you decide to do springs go with eibach, you won't be disappointed!! D2 are great but if you're not looking to slam your car it doesn't matter that it can go lower than just springs... If your OEM struts are still rather firm that is key for you to just go with springs vs if they are shot you may bottom out over some speed bumps... So complete coilovers would be the way to go...

It I ever get around to it I will have eibach spring kit, eibach camber adjustable control arm kit (complete 4 corners) and the R2C M45 Intake up for sale as my friend I sold the car to doesn't want it with any mods. (his wife drives car now) lol :gotme I'll try and get to it asap!!

I call dibs on the Eibach pro springs. I've noticed some people get springs and the rear of the vehicle is lower than the front, will that be the case with these springs? I hope not! Hopefully you get to actually selling the springs sooner than later! PM me with price if you could good sir.
