my VLSD is worn OUT 168K miles...

I need both of those tires to spin!!!!

are the output shafts 30 spline? can a 300zx TT work or can I just use an LSD meant for a 240sx.

As I recall, BNR32 differential works best.

Otherwise, look for a low mileage junker or see if IoS sells the viscous pumpkin.

yeah I've searched about that diff... just don't know.. I don't need a 'gear' change.

so the q45 is a R200 diff right?? shouldn't any aftermarket Kaaz or similar diff made for the 240sx fit it? just use the q45 output shafts.

here is what I got... 96 240sx with LS1 6 speed.. and a q45 diff with q45 wheel hubs and axles.. 3.54 gears are great for my application the VLSD is just worn out on my pull a part 180K diff.

To know for sure you'll need to find out which diff has 5 bolts, 6 bolts or 3 "pairs" of bolts, the tooth count 29 and 30 are the #'s that come to mind, but that's off the top of my head.

Is this diff in a Q?

stock 240sx stuff is 28 spline and 300zxTT/q45 stuff is 30 spline... i'm talking about the wheel hubs here... would it be the same for the output shafts also?

more and more LS1 people are probably going to start using this diff due to the high gearing

my q45 diff is in a 96 S14 but that makes really no difference.

I have the output shafts here (in the middle)

Pilot shaft is something to consider also.

might be just easier to just take the q45 ring and pinion and bolt it to a 240sx type lsd and use a 240sx case and axles...

ugh
